Stupid mistake: Downloaded Parallels 8 onto a OS that doesn't support it. Solutions?

I was in a huge hurry to get Parallels today, and downloaded Parallels 8 onto my Mac with OS X 10.5.8 after reading the wrong specifications (for Parallels 7). Yes, it was a stupid mistake.

I will obviously need to upgrade my OS to use Parallels 8.

My question is:
After I upgrade my OS, will I still be able to use the version of Parallels 8 that I bought today? Or will I have to buy another download after upgrading?
