Sudden issues - shared folders missing and other issues

This worked yesterday, today I booted up the same VM for Ubuntu and the shared folders do not appear. I tried deleting them and adding them back and they are still missing.

I also tried reinstalling parallels tools and that fails too. Here is a screen shot because shared clipboard also isn't working. All I did between yesterday and today was shut down the VM and reboot my Mac.

Same problem. Any solutions? I've recreated my VM with Ubuntu 20.04 a dozen times and in every case it works for "a while" then the shared clipboard stops working, the Parallels Shared Folders icon disappears, and the mouse is locked in the window. Reinstalling Parallels Tools fails at this point.
