Not for me it isn't... I still can't get it to recognize a CD or DVD, even with the new beta.

Ubuntu is the only Linux distro I've been able to successfully install in Parallels. Mandriva, I couldn't find a graphics adapter that wouldn't cause screen scrambling after booting. SUSE, I kept getting errors when it was trying to format the swap partition. Ubuntu took forever to install, but the install had zero problems and it actually boots with no issues.

You must be doing something wrong, I have had SUSE 10, opensuse 10.1, SLED, SLES, Freespire, Damnsmall, as well as several BSD flavors. Ubuntu server is the only real no go, the ther Ubuntus are all fine.

Another feature badly needed is sharing folders with OS X. Can you share folders with other distributions of Linux?
