I can not connect with a 2X CLient 7.1 running on Suse Linux 10.3 to a terminal server 2003 SP 2. It works with a windows client.
I Have no problems to connect with rdesktop on Linux to the terminalserver, but is not possible with the 2x Client.
I tried to connect not thru to the 2x Client getway using port 3389, it does not work either.

Thanks for help

client gateway uses port 80 by default and not 3389
make sure you have the right settings

I know that, i just wanted to say that i used the 2x client as a normal remote desktop client and it did not work either. I think something with the installation or configuration is wrong, but as i installed the client it looked good no messages or what ever and the window client works too.
Is there something special with linux , or maybe client 7.1 works not with suse 10.3???

Help!!

check any logs and ensure that no firewall is in the middle

no firewall enabled,
2x client writes no logs, (or i cant find them), no entries in mesages.

If you enable the logs on the ApplicationServer and then try to connect from your linux machine, your should see some logs unless the mahine cannot connect to the ApplicationServer.

try to ping the machine and ensure that you can connect on port 80.

Still no joy

I've got the same problem with Fedora 11 Linux (both 64bit and 32bit), as well as every other version of Linux that I've tried your client on. No joy. I can attach to the server over https, but the 2X client just says it won't connect.
