Suspend Windows when no applications are open

I know it is possible to 'Pause Windows when no applications are open' but i would like to completely suspend windows to further save battery life, i'm sure this used to be possible but i can't find it in the settings.
It could be that after changing the windows screen saver wait time (because it kept showing the windows logon screen when i resumed my word document)
Would this work through setting windows to sleep when inactive, and setting 'require password on resume' to false?

I think i pretty much just answered my own question there but will post this anyway...
Will putting windows to sleep cause the Virtual machine to be suspended? and will this save battery life?
(if not could a 'Suspend Windows when no applications are open' option be added)

Hello Michael,
Yes, you can put Windows in sleep mode which is equivalent to Suspend mode and Sleep requires an extremely small amount of power.
And with sleep mode you can prevent unauthorized access by requiring a password to unlock your computer when it wakes from sleep.

With Parallels Desktop , from the "On Window Close" menu, choose Suspend to Suspend Windows( it Suspends Windows irrespective of the applications being opened )
