When I plug in my multifunction printer, Parallels asks me whether to assign the connection to Mac or Windows, and I normally select Mac. However, there are occasions when I want to use the scanner function in Windows, but since the Mac driver for the printer does not support the scanner I need to change the assignment of the printer. Sometimes just unplugging the USB cable and plugging it back in will allow me to re-select, but this doesn't always work. Is there a reliable way to get it to switch? Thanks, Marty
From my experience I think you proceed the correct steps to use the MFP with Mac and or with Parallels. I do the same. It is possible to connect the MFP directly for only use in Parallels but I would not recommend this. Best regards Carsten
