I am attempting to install a pc only program, RAOB v. 6.3. Installs ok but when I attempt to open first time to enter subscription key, I get the following message;
"RAOB must first be run from the installation Computer or Server.
This must be accomplished using system Administrator rights."
The program then shuts down when I clear the message window.
I am running Parallels desktop 9, Win 8.1 preview on a Macbook Pro Retina (late 2013) with Mavericks. I am the sole operator on this Mac and this Win 8.1, thus am the administrator on both systems.
Any work around idea? Would going back to Win 7 or Win 8 help? I asked the RAOB tech support about this and they say there is "an extra layer of security to protect against piracy", but could not offer solution.
