Taskbar is missing after installing parallels tools on Ubuntu 20.04

Hello.

I've installed ubuntu server 20.04.03 on parallels 17.1.1. Everything went smooth. But after installing parallels tools for the guest OS the taskbar has gone

Right after the installation the desktop was like this

OS: Monterey 12.0.1
Parallels: 17.1.1
Guest OS: upload_2022-1-8_10-39-36.png

Could anyone help to understand what is going on? Thanks in advance
 
it also breaks the gnome theme. Terminal background color becomes white insated of dark which is default after the fresh installation
