I do not know when this started, I believe after an update, but I'm not sure.
Many, but not all, times when Win7 wants to "ding" me to signal something, instead of the normal pleasant "ding", it is a LOUD distorted screech, which ends with a slight ding.
Is it a corrupted driver?
How can this be corrected?
The Mac host OS does not do this.
Any advice or ideas are welcome.
