Testing vmware workstation 5.5.1

I would like to run vmware workstation 5.5.1 (for Windows) on Parallels build 1970 hosting Windows XP Pro. Is it possible?

This is a testing situation since I don't have a Windows PC machine.

What are the reasons?

The reasons are .... Parallels is a Emulator. You can play around with naming conventions all you want ... but it is still an emulator. You do not have direct access to the Mac h/w under Paralles.

VMWare requires direct access to the hardware (Just like VPC and Parallels do).
