I love parallels toolbox - its probably one of the apps I wish macOS provided with the OS ! there is a brilliant app named TextSniper that allows to capture any area of the screen, recognize the text in that image and then convert it to text saved in the clipboard - it would be good if you evolve the app to recognize text to do that without pasting an image into the app
Agreed! I came here to say this very thing--being able to recognize a barcode on-screen, text, etc. without doing a screen capture first would be amazing! 1Password utilizes a passthrough movable window to "scan" QR codes on-screen when setting up 2FA.
