    Hi.
I have searched the manual about last version of 2x app server and havn't found any information about DHCP and configuring broadcast clients.

So I configured DHCP options and my PXE clients get the IPs but they can not connect to 2x app server because tftp (port 69) is not open on this server. In previous version I configured the pxelinux.0 image in DHCP and used DHCP-helper nd all works fine.

Now how can I make the server to listen for PXE clients.

I think you mean 2x Thin Client Server ?

For the PXE boot to work you need the options ( they should be supplied by DHCP helper but you can try to add them manually) :

What option have you configured in DHCP?

66 IP address of the TFTP server.
67 The string pxelinux.0 indicating the kernel boot filename
    193 The TCS IP address.

What version of TCS are you running try a newer build there were minor bug fixes in helper some builds back.

The port has to be open for tftp there is no way of changing it the netboot process has these assumptions.

Yes, I need that thin clients (computers without hard drives) to download via 2x App Server.

So I configured the options 66 with IP adress of my 2x App Server and option 67 with pxelinux.0.

I have no 193 options on my DHCP. Should I create this option, which name should I use and what I need to specify as value of this option.

I don't set TCS, I use Appserver Load Balancing. Something tell me that I have downloaded wrong application...

You need to have option 193 passed with the IP of the TCS.
The TCS(Thin Client Server) must be used in order for the thin clients to boot and work through PXE and thin client OS. You cannot not PXE boot the thin client OS without thin client server in the network.

The Thin client server then deploys the desktops and applications that are presented from 2x app server.

Ok I have established TCS. To make it work I need to complete thre step as you know. And there is a problem with 3rd step. I cannot install the image for TCS. I downloaded all images from your site. Atempting install the image I've got the error "Image is not supported by the server".

I tried to use both ways: if you download the iso it just has no perfomance, if you download the zip version the error occur.

You need to upload to the TCS the zip file not the iso that is for cd booting.
What versions are you using whatzip file did you try to upload ?

Remember when you upgrade first upgrade the server then upgrade the client OS.
