The 2X client and Universal printer from a USB key

Hi

I have some questing about Universal Printerdriver
We have a security solution from Giritech that’s called G/ON
This is a USB key with a “real 2 factor” authentication.
What we have done is that we copied the 2X client to the USB key and use the public application, this seems to work fine and we don’t need any installation for 2x on the local PC.

We use public application string to start the application. We use the tsclient.exe with parameters.

The only thing that is not so good is that the 2X client start it’s GUI.
Is it possible to start the tsclient.exe or a public application without starting the GUI?

What I want now is to use the Universal Printer driver on the client.

Is it possible to install the Universal Driver to a PC on a manually or by a script.
For instance, if the DLL files is on the USB key, how can I register the DLL files so it will work from the USB key?
 
Test result with 2X v6 and G/ON USB key

Hi ,

Now i have tested the new 2x client and universal printer function without any installation on the client. I have the 2x client copied on the G/ON USB key and use the G/ON secured session to establish contact to the gateway.

The only thing I have to do now is to set the register settings automatic so that the user don’t have to do the setting the first time we start the client.
I only have test this in a small test environment and it seems work. I have tested it with XP client and a Vista client.
Both public application and the universal printer function works

What I have seen is when I use the PDF printer function some time the åäö characters don’t print both on screen (In the PDF document) and when the document is printed. But with EMF it seems to work.

When will this 2X Ver. be released?
 
I jorwie, i'm trying to get the same result rinning 2x with a batch file that insert before and after cancel the registry keys.

As we are going to implement the same solution, i think we can collaborate for best results.
