The application dont appear, only see a partial desktop

Hi all

We install 2x application server in a several 2003 server. But in last, when we publish an application, the client only show the 2x app window with the remote desktop, the application dont start.

We enabled the logs and show that

What application are you publishing?

If you use msrdp , expand and place the same details from the applicationserver published app , into the programs tab and connect, does it display the application only or also fail?

Hello and thank for your reply

We try with several applications, MS Word, Notepad, and more. Always with the same result.

The 2x application client detect the application (the icons appear). When we launch it all its ok, we see the logon process but dont appear the application, only the desktop on the 2x client window that we cant maximize.

We are using the last 2X applicationserver versions of server and client for MS Windows.

Ups! the problem is in the configuration of RDP services

We have check (and dont know why) the option Dont let launch applications and always show the desktop in the Environment tab.

All its working ok now.

Hey, I have exactly the same problem. Where is the "Environment tab" which you are talking about. I am unable to find the option you mentioned.

Go to Administrative tool > Terminal service configuration > double klik RDP-TCP

I have same question, my environment tab already "Run initial program specified ...."
However the problem persist

'Run initial program specified' should be off... and
"Dont let launch applications and always show the desktop" should be off too.
