The application Parallels Desktop quit unexpectedly

I have the same problem with my Parallels Desktop, so I checked the details and the build and it is the same as the old build in the post above. I've downloaded the link John posted for the new build and I've looked at the kb site as well. I am not very good with computers, is there anything I have to do after downloading the new build, before following the instructions on the kb site? Right now the download is just in the Downloads screen.

Thank you for the reply. I had to finish work on Windows so I was forced to just go straight to the instructions on kb. It seems to be working fine now, except there is a company file on Quickbooks that I can't seem to find or delete.

I don't know how to delete a dmg, does this mean I have to start over (uninstall, delete dmg, and re-install?). It seems to be working pretty well already.

Hello BudiS, Kindly quit Parallels Desktop 12 and then go to Finder--> Application--> Parallels Desktop then ( Right click and move to trash ). Go to Disk utility--> Macintosh HD and run ' First Aid '. restart the Mac computer completely and then reinstall Parallels Desktop 12 < www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd12 > and check with it. if the issue still persists then generate a Technical Report ID (refer to http://bit.ly/1lUhbwK for assistance) please follow the last step using terminal, while the issue occurs/the error message is being displayed (very important) and reply with the report ID number. We'll then investigate.
