So I have finally made the switch from VMWare to Parallels 8 on my Macbook! So far I am liking it but what I cannot stand for another second is that dock icon with the bright red pause sign (the logo...).
I have gone through multiple guides on changing the dock icon:
- Change out the Parallels.icns files in various places with a different one
- Change out a set of files in Content/Resources with a bundle someone made
- Use CandyBar to change the icon
These things all work for the icon in the application list.
When I start it the icon is also right for about a second and then BOOM, there is the nasty one again.
Any tips on how to really replace that icon?
