The fan does not stop working and cpu always on high performance

Hi there,
I installed today parallel pro.
The fan is working most of the time and almost not stopping and the cpu always on high performance.
is that the way it should be ?
could it hart my mac if the cpu always working and the mac warming up ?

i will be glad to understand if there are risks for my macbook
