the installation file can't be opened on Mac mini M1 chip Big Sur OS

    Hello, we would like to inform you that currently available versions of Parallels® Desktop for Mac cannot run virtual machines on Mac with Apple M1 chip. Good news: A new version of Parallels Desktop for Mac that can run on Mac with Apple M1 chip is already in active development.     Hi Maria,
    I'm about to purchase an upgrade of Parallels® Desktop for Mac to version 16 and I wonder if there will be a free upgrade to support Apple M1 when it's available.
