"The virtual machine cannot be started due to a critical error." after upgrading to 18.2

    I've tried https://kb.parallels.com/en/9231, which doesn't work at all. How can I download an older version, say, 18.1? Is there a way to see the log? I don't know what I can do.

    I've foun d the log file, the content is:

    To let us better understand the situation, please perform the following steps:

    1. Reproduce the issue.
    2. Collect an additional technical report(click Parallels icon || > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID in a reply

    What is the path to the log file? I'd like to see the same thing.

    2. Collect a technical report ( Right-click Parallels icon in Dock > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report ) and send the report's 9-digit ID in a reply.

    Did anyone get a resolution to this?
    Just experiencing it on the latest version (18.3.1) when trying to start a MACOS 13.* vm for the first time - it was set up through Parallels directly.
    The KB9231 does not help either.

    To try to resolve the issue, please perform the following steps:

    1. Temporarily uninstall Sophos.

    2. Restart your mac.

    If the issue still persists, collect an additional technical report (click Parallels icon || > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and provide its 9-digit ID here.

    Thank you, that resolved the startup issue.
    Do you have any details of what Sophos is doing and whether it is possible to custom configure it for next time?
