Thumb drive doesn't show on Mac w/ Parallels is running

This is more of an annoyance than a major problem, but why is it that when I have Parallels running Windows XP and I insert a thumb drive, it opens on the Windows side and doesn't show at all in the Mac's Finder window? Is that a setting that I'm just not seeing?

Configuration Editor - USB COntroller 1 - Connection options - select connect to Mac OS

Hi I am not able to detect the external hard disk form parallels and also I am not able to maximaize the screen to the complete size

1. Use Shared Folders
