Thunderbolt External Drive not showing up

I am experiencing an ongoing problem with a Thunderbolt External Drive connected to my Apple Pro.
The drive does not show up al all in Windows Explorer nor in Finder once Parallels Desktop is running.
It only shows up when Windows has been shut down.
I am running the latest version of Parallels Desktop 10 Version 10.2.0 (28956)

Any help with this issue would be appreciated
 
Hi RodneyA1,
When the Thunderbolt External Drive is connected to your Mac, make sure that the device is not directly connected to your Windows Virtual Machine.
Go to Devices > External Devices > Disable External Drive.
