Convert video crashes my iMac pro -->everytime, despite new install and new iMac Pro, caused three blue screen type events ....resulting in a complete shutdown of the computer and a reboot. I have reported this to Apple as a bug too.

You guys have a suggestion?

could you please generate Problem Report (Open Toolbox -> click on cogwheel -> Help ->Send Technical Data), send it and post it's ID here. We need to investigate the problem.
Also, if possible, share a vide that causes the crash.

Do you have the crash on every video conversion despite of video is being converted? Or one concrete video causes the crash?
 
Also I would ask you to send us crash reports from you Mac:
- Open Finder
- Press Cmd+Shift+G, enter /Library/Logs in dialog
- Compress 'DiagnosticReports' folder and send it to us (this folder contains reports about crashes on your system).
