I have now been using Parallels with Windows VM for long enough that I have experienced some of its odd problems. The worst problem I keep encountering occurs right after a tool kit update. The update wipes out my setup in various ways and creates situations where I am unable to follow through with what I adapted as normal procedures bases on Windows/jMac sharing. I then take nearly two days to chase the issue and figure out how to restore settings. OK, I'm smart enough to do that. However, it would be nice if the tool kit updates would occur w/o altering my settings and configurations. This last time actually erased files! I can certainly understand that some users suffer this issue by believing that suddenly, Parallels has gone buggy and report to this forum strange problems that appear to have no solutions. Please take some time and correct the toolkit update procedures to function w/o resetting setups/configurations. Thank. You
