I've just received my new Imac 24" 2.8 GHZ machine, installed Parallels 3.0 (most current build) and everything seems to be working fine (OS is XP Pro SP2), except....when I plug in a USB 2.0 Western Digital 500 GB HD and a 320 GB HD I can't copy files to the 320 GB drive (from the desktop, flashdrive or anywhere. I can't remember the exact error but it basically implies that the drive is locked.
Any ideas as to why this is happening?
The whole idea of buying the Mac w/Parallels was to be able to take advantage of both OS's.
BTW, the Mac is the most current version of Leopard w/the update.
Tnx

Tnx for the help.........excuse my "newbie" question but, is the "Shared Folders" in Leopard or in Windows (I'm not at my office computer otherwise I could look)?
Seems to be filesystem error on the drive. Try to check it.Tried your suggestion and the Shared Folders were already active. At one point it saw and read all the drives and I was able to copy data back and forth but then stopped recognizing one of the drives. There seems to be one folder w/photo images that won't copy over. It copied several other photo image folders but keeps blocking this one folder.....is it gremlins or am I still doing something wrong?
Parallels has no any sensible restrictions at this point.Does Parallels/MAC Leopard restrict the number/size of drives attached? There are 2 500 gig drives and one 320 gig drive.
