Transfer virtual machine to physical

In this case I'm building a Linux installation but I suppose this question could go for any guest OS.

So, I'm setting up Linux on a virtual drive with boot, swap and root partitions with corresponding filesystems. Once done I wan't to transfer that to a physical drive (internal SSD).

How do I achieve this?
