Trial Install Windows 10

Hi, I am trying to install Windows 10 on the trial version of Parallels on my iMac. I am accessing W10 on an external drive. The Parallels install I think was ok but when I try and start the W10 I get a black screen and "Windows 10 has suspended" message. Any help would be good to resolve this. I have attached a screen shot for assistance.

Hello @JS_7 , Are you trying to run the windows 10 virtual machine from the external hard drive with an intel Mac? If yes, please refer to this link. If in case you are trying to install windows 10 from a USB stick/drive on the intel mac, then kindly refer to this link and check. Thanks.
 
Hi, thanks for the responses. I have now resolved this issue by rereading the instructions specifically about the W10 install disc. I downloaded the installation disc from the MS website which must have been different to the one I previously had and this time W10 installed without any problems it also activated without issues. All now ok but do I need to install an AV program or can I rely on the one installed on the MAC ?.

Ok, I am only using the VM to run a design app which doesn't run on MAC and am not using W10 for the internet so I might just leave it at that. Interesting though the when I check W10 Defender AV settings they say that protection is being managed by my organisation and therefor turned off could this be MAC is doing the protection ?. Thanks Nzeemabanu
