Tried to extend subscription with code, added as second subscription instead

I bought a Parallels Desktop Pro activation code from a reseller to extend my existing description as documented in:
https://kb.parallels.com/en/124562

However, the dialog box to choose between adding a new license or extending an existing one did not show. Instead it was added as a second subscription. Please change this to an extension of the existing one.

I already filed this as a support ticket two weeks ago without receiving any reply until today. I have to say I am fairly disappointed with support at this point.
