Hi, I'm trying to run Dragon Age: Inquisition on a Windows 11 VM on my M1 Macbook Pro 2020. I've had no issue playing DA:O or DA2, but it's here that I run into issues, and I can't even tell what they are (sorry).

I can download the game from Steam, and have Origin installed, too, but no matter what I try, I just can't run the game. On clicking Play in Steam, Origin will crash and then reload to my games library, and Steam's Stop button on the DA:I game will change back to Play. I've installed DirectX and vcredist properly, and deactivated my Microsoft Defender Antivirus, and tried all the other potential solutions out there.
If I try running the game offline, I get an activation screen, but turning the Internet connection back on won't let me submit my details, either.

EA tells me it's a Steam problem since the game launches from Steam, and Steam won't even let me contact Steam Support.

Has anyone had this problem before? Could it have something to do with the Parallels WDDM graphics driver? I have no technical knowledge whatsoever, please feel free to talk to me like I'm five.
