turning off AVIRA SPAM garbage

someone please help me get this insulting splash screen spam off my Parallels Boot Up please!!

it's like Parallels is trying to sell me Avira which is trying to sell me coffee cups and other crap.

Sorry but I have been trying to figure out how to get this /unwanted/ business off my computer for about a year now.

TIA for an url's or specific instructions etc.

I tried to google it and it looked like the solution was way too complicated for my tastes.

tell me there is an easy way...
 
Parallels doesn't bundle Avira, bundles Kaspersky. If you are getting Avira 'spam' it doesn't have anything to do with Parallels.

looks like you d/l the free version and they give you a daily popup that won't turn off that reminds you to buy the paid version...
 
Yes, I've used avira, I can confirm the free version will pop up an ad when it's updated.
 
hi. it pops up an ad "encouraging" you to buy the paid version every single day with no way to turn it off.

this means you have to click it off every day or you have to - apparently - hack the registry to turn it off.
