Ubuntu 7.1 - Server Applications

I have installed Ubuntu 7.10 as a guest OS.

And I have installed on Ubuntu a server application. I can access this application only from the Ubuntu VM. I would like to be able to access this application from the internet at large.


Any tips on having this done?
