    Debian Guest network issues

    Hi there,

I'm running Parallells 8.0.18615 just fine with a Windows XP Guest - no networking issues at all in either Shared or Bridged mode.

I've just added a new Debian 7.4 guest which defaults to using DHCP, and am having a bizarre issue:

If I boot it up operating in Shared Networking mode, my guest can get an address and get to the Internet, but is unable to talk to the OS X via the 10.211.55.x network.

If I switch to Bridged mode, my guest can get a DHCP lease from a server on the network, but then can no longer send or receive any traffic to or from the network. I briefly see an ARP entry for the DHCP server, but this eventually just ages out and is not replaced.

I installed Parallells tools, but it has made no difference.

    What is going on?
