Unable to 'Accept' Software License Agreement in 8

Bit poster
I opened a support ticket for this issue, but just checked and now no one owns it and ETA is tomorrow for the next event, so thought I would try here before giving up on parallels.

I am trying to do a clean install of Parallels 8 to a new Mac Book Air running mountain lion with i7 2GHz/8 GB using a USB super drive.

I can get the installer running, I am prompted there is a newer version to download, but when the Software License Agreement comes up the accept button is not highlighted and cannot be accepted.

I have tried restarting, I tried scanning the SLA to the end and no luck.

Any suggestions?

support solved it

I emailed support, and they sent me a link to download the software using my current activation key.

It worked

If you are talking about the Accept button at the bottom of iTunes Store's Software License Agreement, I had the same problem during the ten first days after buying my new MBP with Mountain Lion. I wanted to download OS X from AppStore to install it into a virtual machine, iTunes Store's Software License Agreement displayed, I checked "I have read and accept the conditions", but the Accept button stayed stubbornly dimmed (grayed out). Finally I went to the shop, the technician connected to the WiFi and did the same manipulation. As soon as he checked that checkbox, the Accept button became black and clickable.
I returned home and was also able to click on Accept. It's a mystery !

Must scroll to bottom of agreement

I had success installing Parallels 8 on a new hard drive only after scrolling to the bottom of the agreement. Until then, the Accept button is not enabled.
