My VM crashed and I was forced to restart Parallels. Once it came back up, I was no longer able to start the VM.
The text I get is:
"Parallels Desktop cannot set the permissions for one or more objects in the virtual machine folder. Contact the Parallels support team for assistance."
I saw two files owned by root:
- VmInfo.pvi
- statistics.log
I tried changing the ownership to my own user to no avail. See some mention about a missing .sav file in the parallels.log from when the VM was running.
Any idea how to recover?
