Unable to communicate with Hypervisor

Such a friendly error! :D

Well, after fighting with the Mac Pro and Parallels, I *finally* got XP to run. Then, I installed the Parallels tools. After that, lost the ability completely to use the mouse inside the Parallels window.

Restarted, retried, and now I get all-time "Unable to communicate with hypervisor!"


Any help? Thanks in advance
 
I have the same problem being unable to communicate with hypervisor (whatever that means). Tried quitting Parallels, putting the Mac to sleep, waking it up, and relaunching Parallels. Still received the same error messages. Any other ideas?

Unable to communicate with hypervisor - same issue

I have a Mac Pro and also receive the error "Unable to communicate with hypervisor!'. Error received after setting up the VM. Haven't been able to install Windows XP as a result of the error.
