'Unable to connect to hard drive 1'

Hello,

I have searched everywhere for a solution to this, but can't find anything (I did find one post but was too confusing!)

Whenever I start my Windows 8 VM, this error pops up and it goes straight to Windows 8 installation screen, it was running fine before as I installed it and was using it, but now it just says unable to connect every time. No idea on what to do to fix it, so any help is appreciated!
