Running Parallels Desktop Pro 15, and I have two Windows 10 VM's running. Copy from Mac and paste to Windows VM #1 works. Copy from Mac and paste to Windows VM #2 works. Copy from Windows VM #1 and paste to Mac works. Copy from Windows VM #2 and paste to Mac works. Copy from Windows VM #1 and paste to Windows VM #2 does NOT work. Share Mac Clipboard is enabled. Isolate Windows is disabled. My current workaround is to copy a file from Windows VM #1, paste it onto the Mac desktop, re-copy the file from the Mac Desktop, and then paste the file into Windows VM #2. This is a pain, as you can imagine. Looking for any advice on either Parallels or Window settings that will allow the two Windows VM's to share clipboard content with each other.
Well, it's been months and not one person has answered you. I can't cut and paste between my macOS to Windows 10 (a recently installed VM Windows 10). At one time it worked. For years it worked. Suddenly this feature has vanished. Yeah, I have the Share Mac Clipboard enabled (that was on by default), Isolate Windows from Mac is unchecked.
In my case it turned out that Parallels Tools was not installed with the fresh install of my Windows 10 VM. This is what I did to fix the issues I was having with my VM . After installing Parallels Tools I was able to copy/paste from macOS to Windows 10 VM - and the macOS drives were visible in Windows 10 VM. Here is how to manually install Parallels Tools: Open the virtual machine (Windows 10 in my case) Move mouse cursor to the top of the screen - select "Actions" Select "Install Parallels Tool". (you might have to manually open the DVD drive and double click "autorun" ) After Parallels Tools installs and you've rebooted the virtual machine you should see your macOS desktop icons in your Windows 10 Desktop (so drives are connected) and cut/paste between mac and windows should also work - (at least that was my experience)
Encountered the same problem some day and had no idea what happened. My solution is to relaunch the app and pc.
Appreciate the response, but my problem is in copying a file from one Windows VM to another Windows VM. I've never had an issue copying files between macOS and any Windows VM. The issue is just in copying files from one VM to another.
