Hello,
I am just new to Parallels Desktop 8 and tried to install games in my virtual machines, but it is always the installation procedure, which does not want to start.
I tried installing
- Rise of Nations
- World of Subways
- Anno 1404
in different guest system
- Windows 8 64bit
- Windows 7 32bit
- Windows XP 32bit
It's always the same behavior. The attached screenshot shows what happens if I double click the setup.exe. The other games even doesn't show an error or a complete empty error dialog box.
What am I doing wrong? It seems that other people are able to play the games or at least are able to install it. I use original versions with copy protection. Maybe this is the problem?
My system:
- iMac late 2012, Core i5, 1TB FusionDrive, GeForce 680MX
