Unable to install Parallels 8 on a 2007 MacBook

    Hello,
    Parallels 8.0 is listed as compatible with Snow Leopard. I have downloaded the DMG file and attempted to install it on a 2007 MacBook running Snow Leopard. The Installer says it cannot be installed because it requires a 64-bit Mac. Why is this happening, and is there a workaround? I need to run some Windows software from 2002.

    I had to use Bootcamp on the 2007 MacBook and a copy of Windows XP to get this up and running.
