Unable to install Windows 10 Insider from .iso

I'm trying to install the latest Windows 10 Insider build (14986) on Parallels 12.
The install stops at the first stages with the message :
"Unable to format partition on disk0. Error occured with application of parameter <DiskConfiguration>. Error code 0x80042425"
Clicking OK on this message simply reboots the VM.

So, what gives ? I thought installing Win10 was simple, how can it stall when formatting the drive ?

Hello Olivier, please follow the below steps and keep us updated on your progress:
1. Make sure Windows 10 file size should be more than 4GB. If it is not, please re-download Windows 10 from Microsoft website by following the link.
2. Install Windows Home/Pro edition without an activation key and by using Express Installation unchecked.
3. After the Windows 10 Home/Professional installation is complete, go to Settings --> Update and security --> Activation, and click: Change product key.
 
Did just that, this time I get the Windows Installation running, but it fails when trying to format the virtual disk partition.
