unable to load parallels drive

Hi
I have a iMac 2013 . Just updated to mavericks.
I was running parallels desktop 8 just fine before i upgraded.
Now i closed parallels and when i try to restart i get this error message
" unable to load parallels drive"

I have tried repairing disk permissions.

Can you please advise?
 
Reinstall Parallels.
Use the latest version of PDM8 from the site, link in my signature.
