unable to open downloaded file on desktop

I'm using a mac and I've downloaded the parallels desktop 9.0.2 .dmg file but i get an error message when i attempt to open.

The following disk image could not be opened.. no mountable file system.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Please (Re)download Parallels Desktop 9 for mac latest build as suggested by Specimen, you can download it from: www.parallels.com/directdownload/pd9
