I thought that I had correctly uninstalled Parallels from my mac book. Then I thought I was going to be able to reinstall Parallels from my subscription account. When I go to re-install Parallels from my account I get an error message once its downloaded from the internet and I try to open Parallels Desktop 14. The error message is titled "Conflicting Applications" then it reads "To continue the installation, quit the following applications:" then it reads "Parallels Mounter". My mac book is macOS Mojave 10.14.2, and I am stuck. Please help, I am trying to reinstall Parallels onto my 1 TB 3.0 external drive.

Please refer this article to run first aid on your Mac. After running first aid reboot the Mac and install Parallels Desktop 14 by using this link.
