P12 and windows 10. MacOS: Sierra
All of sudden, for no apparent reason, I cannot open the programs when they are pinned to the start menu. I CAN open them from the Applications folder, and from the program list.
When i try to start quicken from the 'pinned' menu, I get a message telling me to go the folder where the executable is and change privilege from Deny to Access. when I did that, I found that the folder was already set to access.
I don't know what I could have done to cause this issue. I've been preparing to move to another Mac but have not done that yet. I made a copy of my VM and back it up, but I never touched any settings. I did disconnect my time machine drive and plugged another one in to make a fresh backup , but never touched the program or data drive.
What happened and how can I fix it?
Thanks.
