Unable to register Parallels Desktop

    Unable to register Parallels Desktop 6 on Mac

    Hi All,
    I am trying to register my product but during this step I am receiving an error message in which Parallels say me to check my Internet connection, this is not true because Airport is working perfectly and I am surfing on Internet.
    Could be possible that Parallels is not using my correct airport wifi ethernet interface?
    Have you any idea to solve it?

    Did anyone find a fix for this

    So I just purchases parallels and completed the install an activation but I can not get it registered. I get the unable to register please check your Internet connect.
    My connect is working on the Mac and in the windows install.
    Has anyone found a fix for this?

    Darren, customer support created a ticket for your issue. You should see their reply in 5 minutes.

    I got an email from support regarding my issue. Support suggested i register via the parallels website, however I failed to mention that I already tried to register from parallels website which dis work but the install on my Mac does not seem to recognize the registration and keeps prompting me to register and I get the same error when I try to register with my account.

    Darren, please post back to the official message that you received from customer service and attach a screenshot of registration failure.

    not sure what happened but the install is now able to do updates so maybe this is fixed.

    I had the same problem too.
    Bought the software today & faced w this problem =(
    Same Error msg also appear when u click on maclook option or install kaspersky.

    Check your Firewalls (Sophos? Little Snitch? built-in Firewall?)

    try to ping the registration server (in terminal.app )

    ping registration.parallels.com

    if there is no reply - check your network settings/firewalls/restrictions

    Feisal, I see your activation key stared with M26ZHP was successfully registered on August - 20. Are there any other keys that you cannot register?

    I have the same problem. I have registered my key on the website, no issues with that, however, the login doesn't work, nor does installing Maclook or Kaspersky.

    Trying either of them gives this error.

    I've tried pinging the registration server and it works fine. Also, all other internet activity from within the VMs works without any problems.

    Edit: Oh, I'm using Lion and latest PD version, not sure if that relevant.

    Still a problem for me. Can't get PD to register, or at least recognize that it's been registered already, download Maclook or install Kaspersky

    Quite annoying, some have tickets opened but haven't heard any solutions coming out of it. Been this since PD6 for me and still present in latest version of 7.

    Parallels 7 Can't Register - No internet connection

    Which is a complete fabrication since I'm using the internet to write this damned message.

    What brilliant mind at Parallels is going to solve this vexing problem? I spent my $50 for an upgrade and expect things to work.
