Unable to see VM files

I am still new at using a MAC. I just installed Parallels and need to connect it to a work Network. I am hardwired to the network and am able to connect to the Internet via this connection. However, I am not able to see any of the Windows Network Share drives. Does anyone know how I would get around this?
 
Try to disable firewall in Windows and antivirus (probably Kaspersky), if there are still problems, try Bridged Ethernet
as described in Parallels Desktop for Mac user guide on page 157
