Hello, I have Parallels Desktop 17 for Mac Pro Edition 17.0.1 (51482) on a M1 Mac Big Sur 11.6. I succesfuly installed and mounted kali-linux-2021.3-installer-arm64 in Parallels. Unfortunately I am unable to share files between Mac and Kali. In Options->Sharing I selected "All disks" and I ticked all radiobuttons. On the security tab "Isolate Linux from Mac" is off. The proof of sharing being enabled should be that /media/psf or /mnt/psf are present from what I understand from the manual, but they are not there when I search for them in Terminal. B.t.w. Parallels Tools have not (yet) been installed. Did I miss something?
I just noticed that Parallels currently supports Kali up to version 2021.2, not 2021.3. I downgraded to 2021.2 and tested again but I still can't share files between Mac and Kali. Still don't know how I can solve this. Anyone?
Seems like some of my text has gone missing in my previous post. Nevertheless: I managed to solve my sharing problem following the same procedure as given by @ChaimS1 in this post: https://forum.parallels.com/threads...-linux-2021-1-on-m1-parallels-desktop.354896/. Meaning you have to install Parallels Tools to be able to share files and folders.
