Unable to Transfer Files from VM to Mac side

I finally installed Parallels 9, including Parallels Tools. However, I'm now unable to transfer files from the vm onto my mac. I've reinstalled PTools; no joy. This is really annoying because this kind of transfer was working perfectly under Parallels 8. What do I do to fix this?

I'm running Parallels 9 on an XP Pro vm inside an iMac running !0.6.8 (ready to upgrade to Mavericks, but NOT until I fix this problem). I've reinstalled Parallels Tools about six times . . . over and over and over. I absolutely cannot drag and drop files at all from the vm monitor to the mac monitor. It worked perfectly under Parallels 8; so why isn't it working under 9. At this moment, I'm really sorry I bought 9.
