I have a client running a Win10 VM that I need to RDP into for work. I have been doing this using Microsoft's Remote Desktop for Mac app but it is not the best app so I was hoping that the experience using Win10's RDP app accessed from within Parallels would be much better. When I attempt to connect using the Win10 RDP client an error is returned that it can't connect to the remote client (screen shot attached).
I can ping the remote computer from the command prompt and I can RDP to it using Microsoft's RDP for Mac so I know the computer is working. I also disabled the Windows Defender firewall thinking it might be blocking things. Again no luck.
Any thoughts?
