I have a mac mini runnign two windows based virtual machines (one win8 and one xp). My Mac mini is on a 192.168 ip scheme but I noticed that the virtual machines are on a 10.211 ip scheme.
my xp machine hosts an http server which i used to be able to access from the other machines on my physical network by just enterign http://homeseer in the web browser, where homeseer is the machine name of the xb machine.
now that doesnt work and I am assuming this is because it is on a different ip scheme.
I read a bit about the shared networking environment for parallels and I am wondering if I have to set up a port forwarding rule in parallels to direct port 80 to the xp vm, and then access it from other machines using http://macmini where macmini is the machine name of my mac mini.
is that the only way to do it or is there a way to access it directly at http://homeseer like I used to?
