Uninstall Parallels 7 from Mac running Mavericks

I loaded my data from an older MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard to a newer model running Mavericks using Migration Assistant, and it inadvertently loaded Parallels 7. I realize that ver 7 doesn't run in Mavericks, and I won't be running Windows on the new machine anyway, I just want to know the safest way to completely uninstall Parallels and Windows from it.

Thanks for the links, but I just want to confirm one thing. The 2nd link applies to Desktop 8, 9 and Enterprise. Are you saying I can also open Parallels 7 in Mavericks to delete the Windows virtual machine?

PDM7 doesn't run on Mavericks, what is relevant to you is only this part:

"NOTE: If you do not have Parallels Desktop for Mac installed on your Mac, search for .pvm file in /Users/username/Documents/Parallels/, /Users/Shared/Parallels/ or /Users/username/Library/Parallels, and move it to Trash. You may use Spotlight to find the virtual machine. Type ".pvm" in the Spotlight search bar to locate the Parallels Virtual Machine on your Mac."

Thanks! When I search .pvm, I see a file that says 'Windows 7.pvm', which is 36.72 GB, that must be it.

You are correct and that is the file where you entire Windows operating system is loaded.

To remove them completely from your Mac, just move the Windows 7.PVM file to trash.

To remove completely you actually have to empty the trash.
